Azam Baru

Forgot to mention last Saturday that the Dean issued a warning to those who have been coming late to work (me) that he will start taking action sometime soon... so I decided to come up with a new resolution... starting today I will come to work early... everyday... which means I have to arrive at UNITEN before 8:00 am... which means I have to wake up at 6:00 am... everyday...

Woke up at 6:40 am this morning (itu pon nasib baik ayah aku kejut)... forgot to set my alarm clock last night... punch card at 8:12 am this morning... azam baru konon... shait... esok cuba lagi...

The Day Everybody Found Out

I have been trying very hard to keep it a secret... and I have been hugely successful in keeping it that way... it wasn't so hard after all, all I had to do was keep my mouth shut and don't tell... and nobody would know... and nobody knew... until today...

We had a college briefing this morning, and the Dean was giving the presentation... it was about the usual stuff... new staff, new student intake, accreditation... however, towards the end of his presentation, he showed a slide on 'other issues'... that was when it all happened... towards the end of the slide, he wrote 'Nadia Tan awarded scholarship by Japanese government to do her PhD'... I was like shit, he's not gonna do what I think he's gonna do is he... sure enough on the next slide, my worst fears was realized... there it was terpampang besar2 on the screen for every person in the COE to read... 'Mohd. Hafiz awarded ASEAN Scholarship to study at NTU, Singapore'... I was like fccuuukkkk... yet I just kept quiet, I covered my mouth, and tarik muka toya like nothing happened... one of my friends sitting close to me started asking questions... "Eh Hafiz mana ni... COIT ada orang nama Hafiz ke... department lain ada orang nama Hafiz ke?"... finally a few seconds later another friend turned to me and asked slowly... "Ko ke tu?"... I just smiled and nodded slowly... muahahaha... diorang semua kutuk aku lepas tuh... what a way to break the news... people started congratulating me after the presentation... all was good...

by the way, watched Mission Impossible III today... good movie

England Suwey

Damn lama gila aku tak post... harini nak tulis pasal England yang suwey... last World Cup David Beckham got injured right before the World Cup, yet Eriksson included him in the squad... now the same thing is happening to the new talisman Wayne Rooney... apa 4 tahun sekali star England mesti kena injured ke, semua right before the World Cup...

Anyway, he also made a surprise inclusion of young Theo Walcott... he reminds me sooo much of Michael Owen time muda2 dulu, if you don't believe me just take a look at the video below... and I can't help but drool at the prospect of him playing for Arsenal (hopefully) next season... Arsene Wenger is a genius
